Inauguration of EPO Production Plant - Zelltek S.A. - Santa Fe, Argentina- October 6, 2009

Zelltek S.A., a company of AMEGA Biotech group, officially inaugurated its new plant for the production of recombinant human Erythropoietin in the PTLC (Parque Tecnológico Litoral Centro).
Inauguration was headed by President of the Argentine Republic Cristina Fernández de Kirchner in a ceremony attended by important local and national authorities.
With a total covered area of more than 4500 sqm, this three-floor production site has 1 kg manufacturing capacity per year.
Zelltek S.A. started operations about 14 years ago, being the first biotech company in Argentina to be incubated in a public university and representing a successful bridge between public and private sectors, scientific knowledge and production fields.
